Cynergin helps Natural History Museum Save 579,000 / Year

The Natural History Museum is one of the UK’s most prestigious heritage centres. Cynergin has supported the museum in defining and implementing its energy strategy since 2005.

The central boiler house at the Natural History Museum (NHM) used to provide heat for the Victoria & Albert Museum, Imperial College and the Science Museum. When the latter installed their own heating systems, the NHM's unit energy costs increased dramatically.

Cynergin managed a project to provide a super-efficient tri-generation solution (combined heat and power plant - providing heat, cooling and electricity) that provided substantial net cash savings to the Museum and reduced carbon-emissions by 1,500 tonnes per annum.
